Courtney— interesting about the arroyos. Was there a better solution at the time that could have been done.? Or do we look at it thru the lens of what we could do now?
Great question! In general I’d say we’ve learned that working with water is better. Avoiding development where water naturally flows for instance. This is a mistake that’s not at all unique to Albuquerque, though, and these were certainly standard practices for their time.
